How do I add a DID to an ext? Option-11

Thank you, sir, But what is the peoceure?

You need to log into the phone system via a TTY serial port. Once logged in, you need to go to LD 49.

What knowledge on Option 11's do you have?.

Have been doing MAC work on Nortel products for 25 years, But have never been assigned a DID.

It will be something like this below

>LD 49
REQ PRT
TYPE IDC
CUST 0
DCNO

DCNO 0

SDID NO
IDGT CDGT
334444 4444
335555 2777
33666 666

REQ ***

CHG PRT
TYPE IDC
CUST 0
DCNO 0

The next part is where you enter the DID digits from the exchange and press enter, then enter in the extension number and then enter etc. Press enter to get to REQ and then do a PRT again to confirm that the DID is present.

Here is a better example using IDC table 6

REQ PRT
TYPE IDC
CUST 0
DCNO 6

DCNO 6

SDID NO
IDGT CDGT

REQ CHG
TYPE IDC
CUST 0
DCNO 6
IDGT 334456

334456 4535
IDGT

REQ PRT
TYPE IDC
CUST 0
DCNO 6

DCNO 6

SDID NO
IDGT CDGT
334456 4535
REQ

This shows a 6 digit DID number of 334456 coming into the system and is directed to a DN of 4535.
