did someone managed to start Gnome undaer IRIX 6.5.x?

hi there...
im having a problem with gnome under my O2
when i exec gnome-session under console! it just starts the main gnome startup window, with icons at bottom apeering! then nothing appeans, just 4wdm
what seem to b the problem, couse im getting no error messages, and i have installed all the packege from sgi freeware..
please let me know! if someone knows what i need to do first!
