Good Day to you all,
I am seeking your assistance with regards to the DID challenge I am having
I have one Extension that the client requested to have DID removed and I have done that as shown below.

COMMAND=1212
1212>300
1212>300:NONE-
COMMAND=1213
1213>300
1213>300:15-[Which means no data set]
However the client is still saying the DID calls are still going to the extension
Could there be a configuration I might have missed.

Thanking you in advance.
Best Regards,
Cleophas.

Try:
7600>300:

7600 is where the incoming digits are translated.

If 300 are passed as DID digits it will check for a "Number Block Conversion Number" assigned in CM 7600.

Go to CM 7601, 7602, 7603 and 7604 to see what the actual translated digits are.

Hi PFD45,
I have checked the system and below are my findings.

COMMAND=7600
7600>300
7600>300:NONE-
COMMAND=7601
7601>300
7601>300:NONE-
COMMAND=7602
7602>300
7602>300:NONE-
COMMAND=7603
7603>300
7603>300:NONE-
COMMAND=7604
7604>300
7604>300:NONE-

Thanking you in advance.
Best Rgds,

What is the number that outside callers are dialing to hit extension 300?

Hi PFD45,
The number that callers dial is +248 4 673000

Rgds,

Cleophas

if you are receiving 4 digits from telco then try CMD 7600>3000>. You may be translating 3000 to 300 in CMD 7600.

Check Cmd 3512 for the route your ISDN is in to find out how many digits are being received. Keep in mind though that whatever it is set to, you receive one digit more. So if it was set to 0 it would be 1 digit received and if it was set to 3 it would be 4 digits received.

You seem to be confusing CLI and DID. 1212, 1213 and 5005 govern the CLI sent to line by your system. DID is the incoming digits sent by the carrier to you and that is governed by Cmd 3512 for number of digits to be received, 3518 for whether or not digit translation is allowed and Cmd 76xx for the actual translation. If no translation is programmed, calls will go straight through to the corresponding extension (assuming your extension range matches your DID range). So to stop it you need to translate it to somewhere else like reception or to a voicemail box that informs them that the number is unavailable.

Dear All,
Thank you very much for all your assistance.
Its now working with the following configuration
COMMAND=7600
7600>300
7600>300:300-
COMMAND=7601
7601>300
7601>300:301-
COMMAND=7602
7602>300
7602>300:301-
Thank you all for the support.
Rgds,

Cleophas
