I have set up a DID on a softphone ext and it is only going straight to the receptionist instead of to the DN.
Is there something I am missing or can a DID not be put on a softphone?????
If you setup the DID on the softphone and also set the line as the express messaging line in voice mail, when the phone is active, it will ring the phone, when the phone is inactive, it will go into the voice mail immediately.
If it is set as an express messaging line, I believe the line will go to voicemail all the time. I could be mistaken - I've never tried it that way.
Try this:
Launch the i2050. When it is active, log into the BCM, go under that DN under capabilities and enable "keep DN alive". When the 2050 goes offline, the BCM will still think it's online, and it'll revert to voicemail after however many rings you have that DN set for.
