I was just wondering if it's possible to change the presentation number when dialing externally. Right now, we use a DID for our main switchboard. All calls for our entire 200 block DID range go to the switchboard if they haven't been allocated to a DN.

Now, my question is, when dialing out, can our DID numbers be presented on call display for outbound calls?

Yes, you should be able to present did number when dialing out.

I am saying this based on how it works here. (Sweden)

The conditions are:
1/ The calls has to go out to the same PSTN station as the DID numberseries are comming from.
This means that if you have different telco operators, for incomming and outgoing traffic it will not work.
The reason for this is that the numberpresentation can only be within the range that is specified at the PSTN station.
If you have a connection for just outgoing calls there will not be any DID range specified there.

2/ Your telco operator needs to specify that either all DID numbers should be presented, or that your own PBX should be the one to decide what should be presented.
This has to be programmed in the PSTN station.

If you have been given the possibilities to let the PBX decide what will be presented you have to program CLID tables that has to be associated with each extension.
(could be only change of the default CLID table, no changes at the extensionlevel needed)
