I have a SIP Line with the URI information "Use Internal Data" and the users have in SIP tab a phone number administered. That number is the one shown as DID for outbound calls.
I need to have different DID number to show when I call to just one phone number.
I thought to do it with a Dial short code type, but I can't setup the phone number to show when I use the short code. I tested using "Z" and "S" values in the phone number of the short code with no luck (looks like this config is overwritten by the User / Sip setup), it is still showing the phone number programed in User / Sip.
Is there a way to select a different number to show when I am calling a specific number?
With DID number in this case I mean the number I show to the telephone I am calling, I don't know if I am using it wrong in this context.
Thanks

Setup a separate URI with that DID as the uri info, on a different outbound ID.
In your 9 shortcode, match the number, and send it over the other URI's outgoing ID.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, It was what I thought, create a new SIP Line assigning a different URI number but I expected to be some other solution. I don't know if my service provider will allow me to create a new trunk.

You don't need to create a new trunk, just create a new SIP URI on the same trunk.

Also if you have an URI with all stars, but a different Outgoing ID on that and then you can use that when you wanna use "s" on shortcodes.

Yes, you are right, I thought the Outgoing Group field was global per Line, but I saw it is per SIP URI.
Thank you very much.
