DID number routed to AA

I have a Legend R7 system at one of the offices. We have an -8000 DID number that I would like routed to the Auto Attendant so callers can select either a department or dial by name.

Is this possible? If so, how would I accomplish?

Depending on the voice mail system, you could simply renumber the voice mail calling group to match the DID number and the auto attendant would answer automatically.

Or, you could create a phantom extension out of an adjunct extension, renumber it to the DID number, cover it to voice mail, and assign the mailbox to point to the auto attendant.
