DID Nightmare

hello,

i have a MICS on 1.1 and a fiber module with two analog DID cards installed. They have been working fine since installation 10 days ago.

Now when one dials a DID number from outside all they get is a fast busy or dead air. I checked the programming for the target numbers and line access and everything is still there and correct EXCEPT that if i go to module status it says that module 3 (where the DID cards reside) is empty.

Have you tried to Reset the whole system? Make sure that the module is powered up at the same time. You might have taken a power surge or lost power. I have seen them do this several times.

Do as Dtone says. After reset if not working move fiber to another port on card.

Muchas Gracias mi amigios.

I tried all of the above, to no avail. Finally I powered down, removed the DID cards powered up and let it run for awhile without them. Then powered down inserted the DID cards, applied the juice and viola! everything works again!
