Did my DTIM8 go die?

So when I inherited our iPecs system we had a DTIM8 sitting on the shelf not being used. I have since found a use for it but seems to be broken. long story short I connected via the serial port on the front, plugged it into the same network as the rest of our phone system. When it boots it fails to get an IP address and then will constantly reboot. Is this thing done for and just needs replaced?

-a new DTIM searches a MFIM with IP 10.10.10.2, so when you have changed the MFIM IP
this can be the reason that the DTIM don´t find the MFIM.
-another reason can be dip 3 when it is set to manual register

I would check dip 3 and try to set the system IP with the nr command when
the MFIM IP is changed.
