Again, I apologize for being a Magix person who decided it is time to move on to bigger and better things (IP of course). Is there a way to simply tell the IPO to look for a certain digit range, ie, 4240 - 4299, and just strip off the 42 and replace with a 1 like in the Magix?

I assume I can go into Call Routing and look for incoming number 42?? and make the destination ??.

Am I totally off base? Does there need to be a call route for each individual DID? This is IP403, v 3.0.40.

Thanks, from what I have done so far, these systems kick @ss; especially having more of a networking background vs telephony.

That's not the way IP Office works.
You must create a Incoming call route for each DID number.
You can find in the manager under the menu "Tools" a option called "MSN Configuration" were you can create a sequential range of Incoming Call Routes.
Please read the documentation how to use this, it will make your programming easier and you will understand how it works.

Michael,

On the plus side, on IPO you aren't limited to a 16 entry incoming call routing table like you are on Magix.

Having said that, although I've never tried this since the MSN configurator mentioned above makes it pretty simple to simply list everyone, you could give the following a try to do what you want:

Incoming number: 42XX
Destination: 1#

You may need a "-" in front of the 42XX but I don't think so. If you try this, be sure to let us know how it works.
