Hello,
I have set up a 0x32 phone system with DID lines. I have 6.0 software and have set up the Target lines to the proper stations. My question is:What do i need to set up the DID lines in the actual line position on the trunk module?
Here is what i have:
Trunk Module 1
Lines 061 to 072 are DID lines(Analog DID, incoming only)on 2 DID cards, Slot 1& 2.
The Line is set up as follows:
Trunk Type: DID
Line Type: public
Dial Mode: Tone
Prime Set: None
Distinct Ring:None
Auto Privacy: Y
Link at Co: N
Aux. Ring: N
Signal: Wink Start
Ani Number : N
I did not set this up, it is the default settings.
Do i need to change anything? Everthing seems to be working fine, i just don't know if i need to change anything in this
programming section. I have 8 DID lines like this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Gabriel

Perhaps the only thing I would change is the prime line, make it go to reception in case there is a problem and caller does not get to intended destination.

would this be the case for instance if i have 2 intercom buttons, and both are in use, my ext would just ring rather than go to my mailbox? Or did i miss something? I have set the prime for the target to the ext, and the foward no answer on the ext. to go to vmail after 4 rings, so this is the only place i didn't touch.

If you set the target prime to the ext and vmail crashed one day it will just ring at the ext....or prime it to reception in case it does crash plus this would tell reception that something is wrong and to call for service.

The way you have it setup with intercoms and fwd's are fine.

Is there away to get my mail box to pick up if both intercoms are busy? Right now it just's rings no answer. This is what i have:
Target Line is set to the ext
Target is private to ext.
Prime set is the Ext
Ext has 2 intercoms
Target line is ring only on ext
foward no answer is set to Vmail after 4 rings
foward on busy is none.
Now if i have both intercoms in use with outside calls, the next call rings no answer. If i have both intercoms in use with internal calls, next intercom call rings busy. Is this correct?
