Hi i have 02 DID PRI`s having prefix 5321-XXXX setup in CS1000 Rls 5.5. These both PRI were working OK till yesterday and now DID wont working and all incoming DID calls going to Attendant console. It was due to TELCO, they have changed DID prefix 5321 to 55321 mean one digit addition.
When i check my PBX configuration it has following setting

LD 15-->LDN=5333
LD 17 -->ADAN DCH X-->DIDD=0
LD 49-->No IDC defined.

this setup was working OK till TELCO changed prefix from 4 to 5 digit. Now i tried defining LDN=53333, DIDD=1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 but still all DID calls going to Attendant. When i check DCH messaging i am getting incoming CLI=3XXXX, mean i am getting digit 3 before extensions number.
Any help??
How can i delete digit 3 from incoming CLI?? or can i also replace 3 with other digit from incoming CLI?
REgards

On a PRI it does not matter if Telco send you more digits than your DN. The PBX only looks at the number of digits of your LDN (from the right of course) and processes on that.

So if your LDN was 5333 and they were sending 5333 but suddenly started sending 12345675333, the PBX would still only look at 5333 of that number.

I would capture DCH messaging to see exactly what is being sent and go from there. I believe that something else is causing your issue.

Fletch before these changes from TELCO i was getting incoming number as XXXX, i mean only extension number (i checked it through DCH incoming messaging), now when i check DCH incoming messaging i get 3XXXX, digit 3 attached with extension numbers. In above question i mistakenly wrote LDN=5333, it is actually LDN=5321, now as per your answer i should add LDN=55321 as TELCO guy says they set prefix to 55321 is sending. Please not i am getting 3XXXX in incoming DCH messaging e.g. if i dial in 5321-4534 then in DCH incoming messaging i get incoming CLID as 34534.
Further it is actually DID/DOD, and i also lost my DOD CLID and it shows only Master number 53210000 to callers, do i also have to set something else to make DOD work? before these telco changes DOD is working OK and and PBX was outing PREFIX+EXT number as CLID.
Regards

If you have 4 digit DNs on the system, then leave your LDN as 4 digits.

So with a 4 digit LDN if they send 55321, the PBX will only see 5321.

As for outbound, they are not honoring your CLID as ANI. That is a change in the CO. Sounds like they really messed you up with their changes.

chintoo69. You are refering to the route as DID. But it is worth asking if you have them "programmed" as DID

If the route is defined as TIE - that changes things :)

yes it is programmed as DID, Do i have to set LDN same as of TELCO prefix?
TELCO says the are not getting extension CLI from us how ever i never changed anything and it should work as DOD as it was before.
Regards

Just an update both DID/DOD OK- For DOD TELCO guy changed something and DOD is working OK, and changing LDN at our side did the trick.
