I added some phone lines at one of our offices and sent a tech to punch them down and add them for DIDs on some existing extensions.
The tech added the buttons as trunks.
The site is complaining about no VM or rollover.
How do I set these DIDs up on existing extension so that they use the VM of the extension or roll over to the extension? Adjuncts?

Take the DID trunks OFF of the phones.

Renumber the extensions to match the incoming DID digits, and the will receive DID calls and cover to voice mail (you need to create new mailboxes to match the new extension numbers.)

Or, yes, you can point the DID's to adjuncts renumbered to the digits, cover them to voice mail, and add Primary Coverage buttons on the phones. They will cover to new mailboxes that match the DID number, so they wont be in the phone's mailbox (or light the MW light) unless your Voice Mail also allows phantom destinations.

Did you REALLY add DID trunks, or did you just add some additional CO lines that your referring to, and going to use as, a Direct Number for an extension/station user.

If it's the latter, You need to set PRINCIPAL USER for each trunk you added, to the station you want to answer that trunk. (hmmm, did ya get that?...)
