DID and a NAM

need a users mail box to awnser a DID without a DN

Any sugestions?

build an Automated Attendant for that DID only. I am assuming its just one person. You do not have express msg line on a NAM, so I think this is your only solution.

I thought I remembered it. thread799-914709 talks about express messaging for CP 150's that allows the VM to answer calls from target lines directly. I could find no similarity with the NVM. If you have not used the NAM you might be able to trade it in for a CP150 with enought seats to serve your purpose. GL

It's been awile since I had to do this but...
Create a voicemail box that matches the recieved digits of the DID and make sure you remove this DN from the system ex.did is 555, change the dn in the system to be 655, so the system can't find it if you dial internally. You may allso have to craet a Target line for this DID and set it to prime to the VM DN. This way if someone calls the did it will go direct to VM. Like I said it's been awile since I've done this on a Nam.
