I create a query in query designer. I run from the report designer. I add parameters, save, and exit. And when I reopen the v7 Crystal file, I get the message:

dictionary not found...
The query was in a folder separated from the report. That does not seem to be the issue in that I put a copy of the query in the same folder as the report and the message still appeared.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

They refer to is as a 'dictionary', but they are looking for the QRY.

Can you create a new report using this QRY?
When you get the 'not found' messag, does it ask you to locate the original QRY?
There are no permissions that would prevent you from accessing the QRY file?
Has the QRY changed?
