Hi - Just a quick question.....

I need to find a way of disconnecting a call from a internal extension to a outside line ( vise - Versa )

From running a call trace I've got the Equipment of the Phone and the equipment the other end .. ( not sure what the correct terms are!)

I've tried reseting both by using RFBOI:BPOS=xxx-xx-xx
But it only makes the line crackle for a few seconds then the call can carry on fine.

Is there any way of 'Cutting the call off' - I don't mind if it even knocks every body off on the same card.???

Hope somebody out there can help me......
Thanks in advance.

RFBOI really should do the trick. Which card are you doing it on? The extension card or "the other end"? Can you tell me what the other end is?

If you could put a copy of the call trace on here it would help.

CTDEI:DIR=6417;
CALL TRACE
INITIATED ON DIR: 6417 EQU: 001-1-62-05
DEVICE TYPE KL1 PTR: H'0272
MP-IN EQU MP-OUT EQU DEV EQU DEV DIR EQU
TL50 ***** 001-0-20-17

If I said that it's a digital phone / Card would that make any difference.

'The other end' I belive to be the Route/ Trunk number ?

It's as above 001-0-20-17

Digital or Analogue shouldn't make a difference.

Have you tried restarting the extensions equ? (1-1-62-5)

It's unusual that an RFBOI wouldn't work, the only other thing I can think of would be pulling the card out briefly.

Yes I've tried restarting both the Equipment pos of the phone and the other equipment which is given in the call trace - Both using RFBOI:BPOS=xxx-xx-xx

The system comes back and say's that it's restarted the board...

But all that happens is the Call crackles for a 2 sec's then carrys on as normal...

Any ideas on how to get around this one ...Anybody?

Cheers...

Hi Arnoldnt,

Try to restart the program unit it self.
RFPUI:UNIT=TLP50,LIM=1;
All DPNSS digital trunk calls on LIM-1 will restart too.
