Dialtone on Analog and digital sets on CS1000

Hi,

Quick question here :

Which component do I have to setup in order to get a dialtone on an analog or digital set on a CS1000E (Release 5 or 6) ? Is it the MGC or the CPPM card? I have virtual channels (VGW) and dtmf set, im I missing something here? At this time I have talk battery but no dialtone on both sets, the physical part is working ok as I see my digital sets when doing an idu from LD11.

Any idea?

You need to configure TDS loops, and program DTRs on the MGC.

Each MGC can handle 2 Conference and TDS Loops, and DTRs are programmed on cards 14 & 15.

These 2 items should be all you need for analog/digital digitone.
