Hello All,
Currently we have a IVR server that we route calls to from our BCM 400 using a PRI connection to a Dialogic DNI300. This works and we can do a transfer back to the customer service dept if needed. So all is good
Now we want to us this IVR to replace a old fax back system and we are having trouble making an out-bound connection from the IVR to the BCM using the PRI.

So currently we route inbound 800 number and as long as the call is active we can do a transfer back out from the IVR but if we wanted to make a new call it's not opening up any ports on the PRI that I can see in BCM monitor.
The IVR guy is saying that the PRI needs to be bidirectional?

Does anybody have any suggestions?

The PRI should be bi-directional by default.
If you use the UIP tab in BCM Monitor you can watch the D channel messages on the PRI between the BCM and IVR server.
This might provide the missing clue you need.
