Dialogic Board D/42 NS works on DSI16 (shows up as 7310 on bcm), but not with DSM32,shows up as 7100
So I have a few scenario's and am wondering if anybody found a workaround without having to replace equipment.
BCM400 v3.6 with a DSI16 (Digital Station interface) has 4 ports connected to an IVR using Dialog D/42 NS - the dialog ports show up properly on the BCM400 as a 7310 and everything works great.
BCM400 v3.6 with a DSM32+ connected 4 ports to the same type of IVR but each time the BCM see's the IVR ports as a 7100 and so it will not function normally.
In previous scenarios we can upgrade the IVR to a newer dialog board, or downgrade/change the DSM32 to a DSI16.
I am wondering if anybody has found a similar problem with an older dialogic board showing up as an incorrect model phone (7100 instead of 7310) and found a work around.
