Am trying to configure the dialog 4425 to search through the DNA directory, do I need a WAPGateway? Can any one provide me with an example of this configuration?

I'm trying to do the same, I can't believe the IP phones offer this service but only if you use third party gateway!!

Is there any answer, I have customers keen to use this. They say the Digitals offer a dial by name so the IP should too.....

Slash,

E/// has a wap gateway, but it costs big $$$.

one good alternative is kannel, it is a freeware opensource wap/sms gateway :

Hi,

I have successfully used Mobile Gateway 3.0 from Realwow ( for this. I know there was a fix related to this in DNA 5.2 SP4 so make sure you are using at least that version of DNA.

Great downloaded a 30 day trial WAP GATEWAY application, installed the gateway on the same DNA server, edited the configuration file of the Dialog 4425 IP where WAPGateway= ip_adress_of_the_wapgateway, now I can browse and view all WAP links, through the WAP services menu, I need to make a directory search through WAP using my DNA now, from the configuration file, I think that is going to be done through MobilExcec, does that mean I need to have Mobile Executive installed on the DNA? Can any provide with any more information about this? Is there any specific requirements for the WAP gateway for
