Hi,

I'm new to all of this but I'm in an office that uses a lot of Dialog 4422 phones (both Aastra and Ericsson). One of the main problems we seem to have is a lot of "broken" phones that appear to be locked to a certain extension.

I know that we run from an MX-One and we all have our own extensions, but for example the phone I'm currently looking at is locked to 78507, most of our user exts start with 32 or 34. When the phone boots and it asks for an ext, if we try to type anything other than 78507 it doesn't go to the enter PIN screen, whereas it does on the 78 ext.

What could be causing this? Is there an easy way to factory reset these phones?

Many thanks!

A possible reason could be the config file of the phone that was previously loaded into it.
section:
, LogOffRestriction = LogOffAllowed
, LogOffRestriction = DefaultNumberUsed
, LogOffRestriction = PermitIndividualLogOn
You can get on the phone with a browser?
This way you can control what is loaded

That could be possible! How do I access the phone via browser? We do connect our laptops to the phones but I wasn't aware of a web interface, what would the IP and default authentication be for this?

Thx.

When the phone is connected to the network you set an IP address, or there is a DHCP?
You must know the IP address of the phone and a PC connected to the network via Explorer or any web browser, enter The password is Ericsson or Telephone, depending on the model
