Anyone ever seen a MM 3.1 system that will dial a wrong ext number?

We have one that is exch backend and in the auto att you dial 1115 and it shows the right digits but then will say transferring to 1624. It does not do it all the time and it is not on the same port.

This was an upgrade from 1.1 MM.

Every thing looks fine in the system and no errors in the app or system logs.

1623 is a real user so I don't know.

It is using DSE on a Avaya PBX.

Could the extension or numeric address be incorrect on the user profile?

Not familiar with Exchange Back-end, but with MSS I think it directs the call to the Numeric address...

Thanks,

Have you been able to run Dialogic diags on the port card? Is there more than one DSE port card installed? I presume this happens to all the port cards?

I trust that the OHV is what shows the correct digits as you mention, and that this was not a problem before the upgrade.

Try setting a subscriber mbx's zero out destination to 1115 and test that out. Then try setting the same mbx to 1624 and testing.

Is the MAS due for a reboot or power cycle?

Wierd problem for sure.

Update

We found how to stop the problem but still don't know why. We had a MB 1624 that was used if the hunt group was busy it would roll to it. After removing the MB 1624 the problem stopped but still not sure why it would do it in the first place.

And yes in the OHV it showed the right digits being dialed like 1115 then transferring to 1624,port number and then 1115

Very odd

In the PBX, does the coverage of 1115 route to 1624 under certain conditions?

nope. We removed the 1624 MB and it all works fine. I even tried adding 1624 as a 2nd ext number and then it starts again.

Pulling what little hair i have left out now.
