dialing w/ a computer and dialing logs

By dialing I would like to accomplish the following. All calls will be made via a computer headset and fax modem:
a. Create a Dialing Log
b. Dial a Phone Number (via record information)
c. Automate the Dialing Log and actual out going call from a single button

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Scripting is the way to go.

Let FM dial the number, go meanwhile to a log table where you put the number, date and hour.
Determine the possible steps to take in accordance with the result of the dial attempt.

Log your call, enter data if available in globals.
Register the call with a script to put the data in regular fields.

Or am I missing something ?
