We just started experiencing a problem where, when dialing out via our PRI T1, it hangs up immediately after dialing the last digit.

Here is how we dial: 91234567890; as soon as the 0 is hit, the line hangs up.

We have a dual T1 solution. The first T is 23 voice/1 D channel going into slot 4 of the MICS. The second T is 11 voice, 12 data, and 1 D channel that first goes to an add/drop csu/dsu then to slot 3 of the MICS.

I have a trouble ticket that has been open for a couple of days now with our provider, good old AT&T, and no indication of where the problem is.

Anyone with any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

have you always had 2 T1's cause if you have , and no one has done any changes to your "Routes" or "Public Dn Length", doesn't sound like the Norsar is the issue.

We used to have only one T1 with 20 voice, no PRI. It was cut over to the new T1's about 2 months ago, and just recently this dialing out problem has arisen.

If it has been working fine up til now then your issue is with the provider. They should either find the problem remotely or bring out a TBerd and test from the DTI cards. MRoberts
