Dialing Restriction in 3.2

Hi All,

We would like to bar calls for one of the user & the use should able to dial only perticular numbers,

USER A: shold able to dial 0012435601
USER A : Not able to dial all other numbers starting from 001,

how to do this in 3.2 i tryed but failed,

pls give me some tek tips how to do the same

You could activate outgoing call bar on the user and put the numbers you want to be able to dial as DialEmergency on that user.

make a shortcode for what he may not dail and what he can dail

FYI - I have found that the shortcode matching within "User Rights" does not work properly in 3.2. A dialed number should match the "closest" shortcode, but does not always do so...

For user A make shortcodes in the usershortcodes field like this:
Sc = ?
tn = .
Action = busy

Sc = 0012435601
tn = .
Action = dial

OR
enable outgoing call bar in the users telephony settings and create a usershortcode:
SC = 0012435601
TN = .
Action = DialEmergency
LineID = whatever linegroup you have
Then this user can only dial the emergency numbers
