We have to IP Office Rls 11 sites having the same extension numbering plan. Now we tied these two IPO using the IP trunk configuration. Since both sites have same extension numbering plan, how can we configure so that both sites users can dial each other?? i mean in CM i know we can dial TAC of route and then the extension number. In IPO how can we implement this?

From memory you can't have both sites using the same extension numbering plan. As an example, one site will need to use say 2XXX and the second site 3XXX.

Thanks, Tim

Correct. if you do it in this scenario...you CAN NOT enable the SCN features. You will manually have to create inbound and outbound dialing rules to compensate for the lack of SCN...

Create a short code with the first number outside of your dial plan like 4N/dial/N pointed to the out going line group of your IP line. N will be the ext number on the other system.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

There are lots of benefits in using SCN but you do need to have unique extension numbers - you'll need to decide if it worth the change.

Thanks for the helping responses. I guess budbyrd solution should work. I will suggest this tip to the Tech.
