I have got the CS1000E connected to the BCM50 and can call a 7316 on VOIP ext 2XXX. However I am having trouble figuring out setting the BCM phone up to call back into the CS1000E.

Ultimately I would like to have a pool of two VOIP extensions on numerous phones that can be be shared, and a smaller amount of phones with just one VOIP ext to give the user exclusive use of that ext.

Additionally, how many individual VOIP extensions from the CS1k can be programmed into the BCM. I have got 4 VOIP trunks? I see 12 VOIP lines allowed for programming, is this the standard?

Thanks for the great support and guidance this board offers.

You can upgrade the 4 trunks to 12 but you'll have to purchase a keycode from an Avaya authorized vendor. With 4, you're limited to 4 concurrent calls between the systems. As for calling out of the BCM50, set up a route pointing to the VoIP trunks, set up the extensions as destination codes, and point them to the VoIP route. Strip no digits unless you're using an access code. Use BCM Monitor to troubleshoot.

Thank you for the help...this should be just what I need to get dialing.
