I have a customer who wants to restrict dialing out of a mailbox.
If I call an ext/room, and I cf to the mailbox, once Im there I can now dial another ext and it calls the ext. I need to find a way that will stop that. I can't find any setting that even refersto this, let alone restrict that particular feature.
Does anybody know if this is possible?
Thanks

This is a UM4750 behind an SV8500 ...H/M package
And I would be ok if it just went to the vmail box, as long as it dont ring the phone ...I have Xfer turned off on all the guest boxes,so coming out of a Transaction box, the call goes straight to the rooms vmail.
Thanks

Each mailbox has a one key dialing feature. Set each digit to go to a specified extension,, possibly the operator, or a dummy extension. You could also send the digits to go to a transaction box with some kind of message there.
