We have a Succession 4.0 with two PRI T-1, our carrier has now instituted a dialing plan that allows us to dial a * plus a code to dial to our other sites. The problem is we are not able to connect from our main site with the Succession, is there a dialing parameter that needs to be programmed to accept the * and the code? Any help will be appreciated.

never used * plus for that but it can be done that way.. in a working switch prt the dnb for * to see what it is defined as

The * symbol is considered part of the dialing plan of the PBX. So in order to pick up the handset and dial anything outside the PBX you would have to dial a 9 (in most cases). Then it would have to be allowed in NARS and BARS for that NCOS.
