Dialing into Meridian Mail Server

What brings up a login prompt??? I have tried everything with no success.

FYI we have a seperate modem for Meridian mail, we do not login through the PBX console.

What are your Modem settings?

try a term on the rs232 going to your modem, if it works with a non rolled cable, then you MAY need a null moden adapter for the modem to work. (one should be dte other dce). and the modem setting are just as critical
