Dialing 8 via dialing 9 in kx-ns500

9 gives a line, default high to low, but that can be changed in settings
8 on its own will do nothing but 8 ans trunk group will give you a line in that group. Like 801 will give you trunk 1. All lines are by default in trunk group 1 so it will be the same as dialling 9 unless you add lines to another group
