Hi folks,
First post on these forums so I'd like to say hi and keep up the great info.
System/Details:
BCM 4.0 running about 150 lines in a SME.
Issue:
We recently changed cell carriers within the company and since the change have noticed that it is clipping the first digit and redirecting to to Dept A (Ext 2) For example when I dial the office and call Dept B at extension 1234, in some cases it will break the digit input timing, resulting in something such as 1, 234. Well as pointed out Ext 1 is Dept A and therefore the call goes to them since the dialed string gets broken after the first digit is entered.
Is there any solution to this? As my only option right now to change the #1 queue to something else. This would mean a complete redesign of the BCM system programming and how the current Dept A is configured. This will require reprogramming during off hours as well. It would also leave the Dept B selection blank, making the selections inconsistant for our customers calling in.
Thanks and sorry if I rambled!
