Dialed message waiting

I know this has come up in relation to Voice mail but has anyone found how to reply to a dialed message wait when one has been set using feature codes from an analogue????

1. class of service multiline set callback erasure allowed

2. dial the off code

Msg waiting applies to a plid not extn so deleting the extn does not fix it.

I don't want to turn it off!!!!

I want to know how to respond to the message?

How do I find out who set the message so that I can find out what the message is about!

If you can't do that then the feature is totally useless. Especially so as when you leave a message from the console it sets this feature!
