Dial zero from personal mailbox

When I configure a voicemail to dial a custom attendant (in user preferences) the caller dials zero and it says extension xxxx is not available and puts the call into the original voicemail to leave a msg. Is there something that needs to be enabled for the feature to work? Aura messaging and Avaya CM
 

Personal attendant/assistant: enter the extension here and save, just tested on mine and it works just fine
