dial up/wireless confusion strange

I can get on the internet using dial up.(That my back up)
I use to could get on the internet using a wireless usb connection, but lately I get a strong signal, but no internet.
Here's the odd part.....When I use dial up My wireless monitor tells me I'm on the internet, but the browser uses the dial up connection.
As soon as I disconnect dial up the monitor says no internet.
I'm thinking it's a tcp\ip problem, but I don't know enough to fix the problem.

have a look at the connections tab in tools/internet options
you might need to select never dial a connection !!!

Stand up wherever you are, go to the nearest window and yell as loud as you can, 'I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore.'
