I have a dlink 704p router and am trying to dial up to bellsouth.net. It dials and accesses att worldnet fine but when I dial Bell it connects fine but the pc cannot pull a web page. I can ping an ip address and ping a domain name so dns is working. But ie and netscape will not get a page. I goes to "Website found waiting for reply" and eventually times out. Just trying to figure it out.

Sounds like a browser setting problem. Check your connection options. In particular, make sure you do not have Always dial default connection set. Also check your proxy settings. Check with Bellsouth to see if they require any proxy settings.

All of the IE settings are right because i can dial direct and use bellsouth but I have been through all of the settings and cant find anything to fix it and i dont think bell uses proxy

What happens if you type an IP address in your browser? In other words, instead of typing in try 66.218.71.198. Do you get to Yahoo or does it still not get anywhere?

Nothing happens then either but lan side works because i can get to internal sites like router config, ftp server but nothing on the wan side
