I need to use dial up networking from win95 to connect to a win2000pro PC.

How the heck do I do this?

Where do I start?

Thank you in advance...

I strongly suggest to update your Win'95 OS to at least Win'98. It's more reliable when it comes to remote access plus it's designed with a different concept ....

Sorry ....

When you do ...

Just set the Win2000 to accept remote calls from he MODEM (Goto Settings>Networking>Create new connection and follow the wizzard).

For the Win98 Goto Programs>Accessories>Communication>Create new connection....and follow the wizzard.

Have fun.

If you have not yet, check this website. A lot of details.

The only workaround I can give here is that you have to have a software named PCANYWHERE. Its trial version can be downloaded from and this is the only ultimate utility to access two PCs remotly
