Has anyone go the pre-installed client home access page to work for dial up? I keep getting a X in the upper right hand corner of the page when it opens? I've donwloaded the client from the BCM (unified manager) but it still doens't work? I am using Windows XP and I do have Java installed.

Did you install the Sun java pre installed client or the Internet Explorer pre installed client?

I've had problems with JRE 1.5 and higher - 1.4 anything seems to work fine.

Try this one (third one down on the Unified Manager Java Class Libraries download page):

Description is:

Download Unified Manager SUN JRE Java Class for IE and Netscape Browser (Version: 1.00.00)

I think that worked, but now how do I access this page if my network connection is down and I have to dial into the BCM? I assume that I have to dial in then load this page?

Yeah that is correct you create a network connection with dial up networking and then open the web page.I would advise you to use the small link under the configure icon to use the peinstalled java enviroment.

When the modem answers, start the IE Browser and put in the IP address. then click on the Preinstalled link.
