Is there any way to use a dial up application like Compuserve and use that machine as a gateway?

My goal is to experiment with setting up a secondary DNS server and my only connection to the Internet is through Compuserve.

I was thinking of dialing in, then using the dial up as my gateway from Internet to a Windows 2000 server.

Does anyone know if this can be done? Sounds stupid I know, but it is the only way I can do it right now.

Thanks for any input.

If you are trying to setup the DNS server to respond to requests from the Internet (no chance) compuserve would (should) be blocking that however if you want the server to do the lookups it should be easy enough you can either establish an internet connection with dialup on the server itself (easiest) or run some kind of software to perform NAT on another machine (i.e. xp connection sharing or sygate(software for older models like a winramp )

hope that helps , and I hope i got what you're trying to do right
