My internet dial-up connection box appears whenever I start up my PC and I am unbale to remove it even if I press cancel.

i'd install ad-aware or spybot and run it a couple times to rid of spyware. that should probably fix it. if you have something in your start-up group wanting to connect on start you should disable that too. good luck.
