My dial up backup is not working as when the Internet goes down it goes to a dialup back but with no luck, I have the dial done, do I need to check any setting. Many thx
you need to check the modem settings (hardware driver) and verify they are identical to the port setting in Windows (software) (i.e. baud rate, parity, etc.) as well as the setting in the POS Config.
you also want to make sure you are using a analog line from your phone provider and not VOIP or digital. Otherwise, you will need to convert your line to analog.
Test your dial out with Hyperlink in Windows by calling your cell phone.
Make sure the modem is plugged into power and phone and turned on?
Otherwise, call your service provider and start a case.
