I am currently running a windoes nt, exchange 5.5 server Lan server and the request has come down to add dial-up capabilities to it. What software hardware do i need? I am running gateway 1750r servers without modems.

so......they're wating to be able to dail in remotely? "Jack of all trades. Master of none."

You need some sort of Remote Access Server or RAS. Essentially they are routers with modems either built-in or added via slot cards. How many dial-in users are you talking about here?

On single hook up, for the big boss man's new office

If it's just one user dialing in, then you don't need a RAS. All you would need is a modem and a phone line that can accept incoming calls. Try Microsoft's support website and search for Remote Access.
