Greetings. I was wondering if someone knew what might be causing this.

Just recently our IP Office system is experiencing an oddity that when people want to dial outbound and push the number to seize the line say "7" they get no dial tone...however they are able to still make the outbound call.

What setting or config changes that. We are used to getting that dial tone heard when dialing outbound?

TIA

There are some settings in ars or system short codes depending on the version you have.

So the site presses 7 to dial out? Most site press 9.

You should list the firmware version on the control unit.

Depending on wich release, there are a chek box for secondary dial tone.
