I have a customer that is using a 0x32 Norstar. I am posting this because I will be meeting the dial tone provider
this afternoon at the site to determine what is happening to their calls. 2 lines are in a roll over group on incoming
calls. A employee call forwards the first line to his cell after hours. For some reason the calls coming in on line
one are SOMETIMES rolling to line 2 even if line one is idol. The vendor has moved his number to a different output on
his equipment to see if that helped. I moved line 1 to a different line port on the Norstar. I measured the dc voltage
on the lines as -43 dc volts. Typical voltage from an idol line should be -48 is this a problem? I tested the line off the
equipment with my test set and it came in one line one every time. Is low voltage from the providor to blame?
Thanks for the help.
