Dial Sender

Every since we upgraded from 6.5 to 7.0,
The 'dial sender', under the TOOLS bar when you are reading an email is now grayed out.

I still have an old PC with 6.5 and it works great.
My TAPI phone will dial the sender.

The 'Dial Contact' in the address book does work in 7.0.

Is there some setting I am missing?
