Hi
I was doing some changes in dial plan. In doing so i cha ges the setting for string=0 from attd to ext.
I am trying to get it back to att however it gives the error saying "0" in use. so i tried to remove the att consoles when in idle mode however i get the reply as "error encountered "..
Pls tell me how do i change the "0" setting back to att.

The Dial PLan screen is as follows now

Dialed Total Call Dialed Total Call Dialed Total Call
String Length Type String Length Type String Length Type
0 1 ext
1 3 ext
1 4 ext
2 3 fac
2 4 dac
4 4 ext

Thanks
Gladston

Where is the ext being used? As the direct extension for the attd? If so, "change att 1" and put in a new extension other than 0. You should then be able to make the dialplan change.

Hi Lopes

Actually none of the attendants are programmed as 0
even if i do a list usage of ext "0" then i get the following...
Used by a vector...

even if a remove this '0" from vector then also it does not work

Pls help me out

i had the same problem and it did not matter what i did
or what i took out it still said the same.Apparently this is a known problem with r11 systems an the only way i found was to get avaya to dial in and change it .
Thanks
Tony
