Dial from email

Installed tapi lite for a customer and dialing from the outlook contacts works as it should. However the customer would like to be able to click and dial from email signatures or phone numbers provided in the email, non contacts. I there an option for this that I'm over looking?

That is a feature from R9. As far as I know, it is not possible with R8.1..

TAPI just provides the communication between the PC & the PABX.
it is upto the customers software what information gets processed and sent to the TAPI driver.


A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

One-X portal offers this as a dial from clip board, or UC+ does this really well. I use it all the time. see
