Does the BMC400, running 4.0, have any ability to offer callers a dial by name where the caller would enter the digits/letters of the end party's name?

Thanks!

yes, dial * for dial by name directory out of AA. name goes by voice mail box name.

Alright great. Is that an option I have to setup under AA? The only input I have for AA options would be table/skillset number.

Are there any configuration options for the name directory? We have multiple companies running out of this office and sometimes it won't be appropriate to be able to locate users of another office.

Dial by name directory is # not *.

oops, thats right it is #...

The only configurable options are under system properties in callpilot, you can change the search type from first, last or both names. Then in the mailbox there is a check box that says display in directory, if this is unchecked, then the name wont be in the dial by name directory.
