Dial By Name on IPO500 Release 5.0

Hello Team.
Is it possible to program Auto attendant in a way that callers can direct dial the extention number without pressing * and extention number? The system and the software are quite old IPO500 Chassis and release 5.0 version.

I'm assuming this is embedded voicemail. If so, no. That is how embedded voicemail worked on IP500V1's. You had to dial a digit (or star) off the attendant and then the extension number.

Yes it is embedded VM. If i replace the chassis with a new release would this be possible? Always using embedded Voicemail.

A current version is the best option, however for your current system.....

The IP500V2 with new SD card and embedded will allow this. I would swap out the chasis to a V2 and SD card to solve it personally.
