Dial by name not working

When trying to dial by name(first name) throught the auto attendant it says "name not found". This is 7.0 release with embedded voicemail. When setting up a person's voicemail it doesn't ask for a name like the Partner would. Thank you.
 
Try logging into a mailbox, and dialing *05 to record your name. Once you have done that, it should be able to find you in the dial by name directory
 
Thanks. I will try that. They are using the visual voicemail so I haven't had them do anything else. Thanks again.
 
You'll need them to log in with *17 to record their name, not sure why visual voicemail won't allow you to change your name through the display.
